Adam Sanders was born into a very strict catholic family. He was raised to believe in anything that his parents put to him, and naturally he did. He was home schooled until he was 11, when his parents decided he should get a taste of what real school was like. They sent him to an all boy’s catholic high school, where he first started taking an interest in guys.

He was 13 when he got his first crush on a boy in his class. He told his parents about the boy and they were furious. After a year screaming abuse at him for hours and being beaten up until he could barely take any more, they decided they were sick of him and sent him to live with his uncle, who was much worse than his parents could ever have been.

During this period he started to get involved with drugs and alcohol, owing to a few kids in his new school. Although spirited and even cocky in school, when at home Adam would meekly follow any order his uncle gave him, until it hit the three-year mark. He snapped and blacked out completely, only coming too again a few hours later, stood at the top of the stairs with his uncle dead at the bottom. If it weren’t for an unknown benefactor funding a decent lawyer for him, he would have been tried as an adult and sent to prison. Instead they pleaded insanity and he ended up at Rainyday.

Adam- The nice one. Meek, submissive, you get the idea. Will do anything for anyone who influences him enough. Would never even consider touching drugs and is often considered childish and naive.

Nathan- The partier. Always ready to try anything, at least twice. You mention drugs, alcohol or sex and he’s there. Enjoys being dominative and is willing to do almost anything to get his own way. Adam doesn't remember anything he does as Nathan, and often gets confused when people who met him as Nathan talk to him, as the two are almost polar opposites of each other.

Will- The violent one. He was the side that came out that night that he got back at his uncle. Again, Adam will never remember something that happens when Will takes over, but he sometimes gets flashbacks while he sleeps, which only serves to terrify him even more.

He was at Rainyday Hospital before and was discharged on the assumption he was able to leave, but four months after being let out he almost killed another guy (as 'Will') for trying to take things further with Adam when he was saying no.
